my first real experiance was getting sick of rap music a couple of years ago and some of my friends had been listening to dave. i started listening to their stuff. the first time i got addicted to dave was listening to luther college. it got me hooked
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

Moral of the story: act like an asshole and girls will cling on to you. It sounds weird, but that's how a lot of girls work.checkii wrote:but yes, I do often get, "Wow, you like DMB?" But i think its funny, a lot of girls way to hot for me have fucked me... ..why? because they said I looked mean but when I was nice to them they thought it was so sweet. what they dont know is that i am a nice fucking guy, they just thought there were special.
and to be dead honest, I would never want to look like the typical DMB fan

i remember my oldest brother, who is now too cool for DMB, buying UTTAD when it first came out. i love WWYS cuz i thought the lyrics were funny and goofy, especially to a 5 year old.

ahh, something I LOVE to talk about
Starts off in my days in the fifth grade. Everyday was just about to be released the coming year, and the song everyday was already in the public's eye. While my sister and I were driving around, she put in her newest cd- Under the Table and Dreaming.
I was lost in the beautiful lyrics, and delicate yet powerful melodies. I was a new-born fan. Typical Situation and Satellite were the first two I remember listening to. Needless to say, I stole my sister's cd, and have been a fan since I was 10.
When I was 10 my favorite song was Dancing Nancies. Times have changed, and I'm in love with Don't Burn the Pig, or a.k.a "Pig" on Before these Crowded Streets, Stay (Wasting Time), Line in Our Graves, and Let You Down
There is something amazing about finding a dave song that you have previous surpassed. For example when I was in College Park Maryland, I bought "Before These Crowded Streets," becuase someome stole my copy. Never before had I payed attention to track number 10, Pig. But for a 15 hour drive home, I sure did. The lyrics at that time in my life related perfectly to mine, and it was a just remarkable feeling.
When I had Kazaa, I downloaded the hip-jop live verzion of Crash, and that is one of my all time favorites.
DMB's stuff give me a thrill where I jsut want to jump into life with both feet running, and never look back. Every time I listen to one of their songs, I get the same feeling as when you find out that your crush likes you. Weird enough right?
