SPAC 8.27.03

i loved this show from beginning to end, seek up, warehouse, the band's energy was through the roof

first, i just wanna thank my good friend lori for the pavillion seats :D

Everyday
great way to start off the show, #36 intro and outro, fans really got into it, lots of energy from the boys

Rhyme & Reason
i love this song, dave did a little slow intro for like 3 seconds, again, lots of energy

Warehouse
lemme just say, wow, holy fuck, ive been waiting to see this song live since i started going to live concerts, very, very solid version, wooos in the beginning

When The World Ends
after r&r and warehouse, i expected a "slower" song, nothing different here

What Would You Say
nothing special besides the LeRoi solo in the jam, damn did he sound like maceo parker, nice version

Help Myself
just about everyone around me sat down for this, but the boys kept the energy up, very solid, great tune to hear live

Loving Wings >.....
and i thought help myself killed the crowd, just about everyone in my section sat down, i was the only one left standing, butch, carter and leroi ripped this song a new one, its good to hear it live and full band

Where Are You Going
nothing special here

Seek Up
remember when i said 7.30.01 was my fav version? well, thats changed. nice long intro and outro, damn thing was 20 min+ if i remember correctly. nice little duet between carter and butch

ok, right here started the two step chants, and after a while dave shook his head, the proceeded to do a little shift step, crowd went nuts

Too Much
this song never fails to please me, only thing different was instead of the "suck it up"'s at the end, dave did a little bit of scat

(Improv)
the only words i could make out were "something's burning"
dave and carter only

Fool To Think
nothing special here

Grace Is Gone
i thought they were done once stefan brought out the doboro, but, there was a nice country-type jam at the end, boyd ripped it up

The Stone
didnt expect this so late in the set, boys kept their energy so far, i still had a little faith

ging a Ditch
good, not an encore, nice version, little different at the end

Watchtower
very, very, very nice stefan solo here, showed off some victor wooten-like style, lots and lots of energy throughout the song

two step chants again

Best of Whats Around
wow, i never thought id see this played, i was kinda hoping they'd segue into two step but alas...
Tripping Billies
carter was inhuman tonight, every chance he got on any song, he showed off his talents, and billies was the highlight, great way to end a great setlist

overall, this show was to die for, i got warehouse and seek up, ive been dying to hear these live, and now i have

Nice! I was hoping to hear Warehouse at the Gorge as well and it happened the second night. Very nice review, glad you had a great time. Best feeling in the world - right there.
