Seek Up (the cellos have returnith)

Unread post by BenPezzner » Mon Jun 27, 2005 3:59 pm

Here's a rough cut of Seek Up. Do to the fact that it's messy at parts, and the levels are screwy, I'm doing it over. I thought I'd post this version anyway, before I delete it.

Expect the finished version soon...

Please make a CD with all of these on them. I would buy it in a second. I can't wait to hear the final product of this song.

That was actually my original plan. Turns out I'd have to pay DMB ~$600 for copyright fees (since you need to pay for a minimum number of CD's, for each track, and extra for the tracks that go over 5 minutes). So in order to not lose money for a venture like that, I'd have to charge like 15 bucks. Don't know if people would pay that much.

You're a real sonofabitch. And I only say that because you're so exceptionally talented. And I'd pay $15 in a heartbeat.

i suggest redoing the first cello part (the main riff on a higher octave). your intonation is off in more than a few places and there was one or two notes that weren't bowed very accurately (screeching and whatnot)

I actually deleted that whole thing and started over. It's sounding a lot better so far.

yeah, its something i've noticed with a lot of your cello recordings: your intonation gets off when you play at higher registers.

its tough to do that on cello anyway, perhaps you should invest in a viola or violin
