"And as you go..."
E--------------
B----3---------
G----0---------
D----0---------
A--------------
E----3---------
"All I can say..."
E--------------
B----------3---
G----4-----0---
D----4-----0---

I dont think the song really needs to be simplified, its already really easy to play. That and like the other people said, the D chord isnt to powerful.

well I just liked the fact that you could hit the low G without having to stretch your hand all funny if your playing in standard tuning...
Code: Select all
E-----
B-----
G--7--
D--5--
A--5--
E--3--
thats sort of an akward position where as ...
Code: Select all
E-----
B--3--
G--0--
D--0--
A-----
E--3--
isn't

You play it in standard, there is an open low e (tuned to d) so it wont even sound the same to begin with. Do you know how easy it is to tune to drop D? Just put your finger on the 7th fret on the low e string, hit that and the a string back and forth and tune your low e down till it matches the open A. It takes like 2 seconds and then you can play it the "right" way
