Dave's Guitar in VH1 Story Tellers
Dave's Guitar in VH1 Story Tellers
Was he playing a standard Martin HD-28 or was it a HD-28V? Somebody must know here. Will VH1 ever play this again? I want the video really bad but can't find it anywhere.

daves guitar
thats the one he plays on story tellers, but the one he plays consistantly in concert is a special model and martin only produced like 60 of them. And if you can find one to purchase you'd have to sell your mom's kidney on the black market to pay for it. Oh yeah the guitar is made of some kind of wood found in South Africa.

I saw storytellers from mpeg format on my computer and it looks like he was playing a HD-28V. The HD-28V has square and diamond inlays on the finger board and the HD-28 has round inlays. The resolution was not the greatest but it looked like the finger board had the HD-28V design. Every publication that I have seen though said he was playing a HD-28 in storytellers. Maybe they were wrong.
