Boss BR-1200CD Digitial Studio
I'm thinking of getting a Boss BR-1200CD Digitial Studio to record my band's stuff. It's got mastering capabilities on its own. I feel like it would pay for itself when compared to studio and mastering fees with an outside company.
Does anyone have any experience with the 900, 1200, or 1600?

Pro Tools Mbox
For the price you would pay for the boss product, you could buy yourself a Digidesign Protools Box ($449). It works wonders...Personally I work with an 002 rack which is more high end than an Mbox. im only 17 and i have been using Digidesign for a year and wouldnt change it for anything. You would have better flexibility and options if you recorded straight into a computer. Mbox's are available all over the place and come with the Pro Tools software and certain effects plugins. Happy Recording!
