I YouSendIt'd the Lillywhite Sessions on this very board, along with The Lost Acoustics, no more than two months ago, so there should be quite a few copies of them floating around here.

There is no Disc 2 of the Lillywhite Sessions. Build You a House is not offically part of the Lillywhite Sessions, but it was recorded around the same time that the Lillywhite Sessions were taking place (I have it as a bonus track on my own CD). I'm not sure about Grace is Gone, but I know for a fact that #40 was NOT recorded as part of the Lillywhite Sessions and that that is a common misconception.
Build You a House is officially part of the Lillywhite Sessions, it just took it 4 extra years for it to fully leak. It was actually the second song they recorded in studio, SUAD being the first. And your right there isn't an LWS disc 2, its more just alternate takes of songs.

That is not a studio recording its from a gig they did at Yoshi's in 1995.
Well my first thought was right after all. Nice how you can name the place of the gig and year like that....pow.

But if you could yousendit the alternate songs, BYAH, and whatnot that would be great. Thanks a bunch milton.

Yeah I'll do that for everybody tonight. And as for identifying that #40 so quickly its easy when every month at ants somebody claims they have found the true studio #40. It always turns out be that Yoshi performance of it. Oh and nice Office Space reference.

Its a small little venue out in Oakland that they did an all acoustic radio show for.

I've been there before. well, beforre I ever heard of DMB playing there.
KFOG radio broadcasted it.

The inside of the venue is pretty roomy. It's definately not a small jazz bar. The stage is maybe 25' wide, i'd guess it can fit 200 people. No idea, its been a couple years since ive been there.
but they get great musicians all the time and is in a very nice part of Oakland right next to jack london square on teh harbor.

ok...wow...i had never heard these, just heard a couple live versions of a few (JTR)...but i never realized how...weak Kit Kat Jam sounds. its like the btcs version of DDTW vs. the live CP version. the Busted Stuff version is MUCH better, in my opinion (this is all talkin about instrumental). i still love it with words, just wish there was more energy. you cant hear the sax....and its essential to the song in my opinion
