Best Dave live album
I hope to dear god i dont get flamed for this if it was already a topic, so please just say so if it was.
Anyways, out of Chicago, Boulder, CP, LS, and RR i thought by far that Central Park was the most amazing live album they've ever gave us. The emotion in ants marching, the amazing bass intro to AATW, Dont drink the water was heavy and amazing, and i crush just blew me away. Anyone else agree or disagree? again please dont flame me, im pretty ignorant of the dmb boards as of now.

YOU IGNORANY FUCK!!
but in all seriousness lol...
CP was amazing, great playing and energy given off by the band. I think LS was good too for some songs, as well with RR, boulder can die, and chicago was alright, but i think the live trax 1 of a week or so before is much better. but overall id say either live trax 1. or CP.

he did them on the gorge, but his voice was somewhat off so he didnt get the high notes, he was getting sick. but the gorge wasnt great because there were soo many busted stuff songs, some played more than once, not that busted stuff is bad, but id like to hear some oldies. and the mixing was off, boyd was outa tune so its like a bad bootleg,

This is a tough call. I can't remember if L@LC was an option. If so, that would be my first choice.
If not, then I would have to go with Listener Supported. It has 3 of my top 5 songs: warehouse, the stone, #40. The #40 is by far IMO the best version ever. Because of the rarity of that song, I give it a slight edge over RR.
Red Rocks is pretty damn close if not even. This is the disc that got me addicted to DMB. You get the Wine/Water jam with Recently. This whole cd is basically a perfect setlist for me if you were to throw in a few songs from BTCS, Fool To Think, Bartender, Captain, JTR, TSTJL. There is not one song that I don't like on this cd.

to me, its 100% CP as the best. the DDTW, SMTS>>ASTB>>Too Much, Granny, Crush, Warehouse, Two Step, Jimi Thing, Ants(cept without the intro), Watchtower, What You Are, and Stay are all the best versions, in my opinion.
and in terms of energy it is unrivaled. RR has some great songs tha i really like (recently, LIOG, BOWA, 36) and some kickass versions of others (Two Step jam, Ants intro, Watchtower, Seek Up). LIC has a good 41, last stop, etc....
so i say 1. CP 2. RR 3(tie). LIC/LS
