why try to sound exactly like dave? it's a cover, make it a bit of your own.

Good work, one of the better SMTS I've heard on the board. You have a good voice.

sorry i dont like that note thats in there before the slide on the main riff...dave doesnt do that on CP, so i guess it kinda annoys me...i dont know the studio version of this song tho, so that may be what he does there(is it?)

hey thanks for the input everyone! sam, if you listen to the intro on the crash version of SMTS, he hits the note you're talking about right before the main riff. it's the E string, and i think what I'm doing is accentuating it a little too much...but i tend to break strings all the time anyway, hehe. ill try to tone that note down a bit. thanks again

thats what i was thinking...and since thats the case, its fine if you keep it, i just go by the CP version as my "standard" so thats what i expected to hear. good work

Sorry, poorly written. There are two slides, I wanted to know which one.

One in the beginning , one in the end. i ddin't notice the problem, but then again I dont disect every accent he plays. It sounds great.

good point...i was talking about the second slide...listen to CP and compare it to this, and youll see the note hes got here, which apparently is whats on Crash...it sounds great either way

great job on the guitar. i don't think the 2,3,4 in the beginning was necessary

you have a good voice, good controlled vibrato there at times. good job. good falsetto. you missed a few notes, but nothing to be upset about.

good cover.
