There's some clipping toward the end. I tried several times to get it out but I ended up just having to suppress my vocals a bit - but it still has some clipping. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for your ears.

not bad man. the recording quality was pretty poor...but hey, that has nothing to do w/ your talent.

your guitar part was really good. you kinda jumped the rhythm around a bit but you actually did a very good job playing. it was also a little slow. now granted ive only heard one version of the song and it was at a concert, but it was a little faster than what you were playing. the last bit of critique i have for the guitar is the "so that i can feel the rain" part, i think you played an E after the G there, and i think dave plays a F#/D. now those are all minor problems so i really want to reinerate that you did a really good job.

Your vocals are good. all on key. very interesting voice. doesn't sound like your trying to be anyone else, really sounds like you have developed your own vocal style. kudos there. alright, i guess that's it. good job. keep it up.

Hey, thanks a lot for taking some time to listen. I know the quality sucks on my recordings... but it's all I can do right now. Do you have any suggestions on what I could buy to get a clearer sound? Some type of computer software/4-track thing, maybe? I'm not really into the recording field, although I really want to be. It's just an issue of time.
Thanks for your compliments, and especially thank you for correcting me on the E to the F#/D.

i use cool edit pro which is a good program and cakewalk which is an ok program. get one of those and a decent mic and the rest is learning. of course im not that good at it either. you would probably want to talk to someone else on the board that was better at it.
