Code: Select all
e--------0--
B-----3--1--
G--4--2--0--
D--X--0--2--
A--2--X--3--
E--3--2-----

I guess I'm just lazy, I just do G, D, C for the chorus.

Instead of using the same boring G-D-C progression, you can take a Cmaj7, which is basically not using your first finger on a C, and interchange it with C, so you can have a different note for everytime you sing the chorus lines.. Sorta different, but it's not bad.

I frequently play Cmaj7 as the third chord, especially when I am transferring into the verse.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

What does that chord look like?
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
