i'm not saying i don't like butch, i just don't like the way it makes me feel when i hear the piano in dave's songs.
They've had a piano since the beginning of the band...

Well put.

If anything Butch compliments DMB's music and doesn't over power with crazy lines ala Peter Griesar (who still is an amazing keyman, some of his stuff with the band for me was just too much.)

Does it make you feel kinda funny? Like when you used to climb the rope in gym class?

:D

For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

This is true but Peter Griesar's sound was more of an organ(early jimi thing) and Butch is that heavy piano sound. I do like his addition's to warehouse.

You know in the older shit when Peter would do all that salsa-type jamming, I never dug that. It's cool thought to listen to those time capsule tracks though.

I thought they toured from like 1993 until 1999 without a piano?

Is he the chapman stick fella'?

If anyone has seen the Van Ryper's footage, I can't remember the track exactly, it might be Pay for What You Get, but there's a keyman there I don't recognize. Who is this?
