Unbelievable show. Much better than the 4th. Randolph was amazing on Louisana Bayou!!! Carter was ridiculous during Hello Again. And the TWO STEP!!! It was crazy. Carter really shines on these new songs live. I'm in love with the Die Tryin' jam. Much more respect for Stand Up after seeing a lot of the songs live.Nitro1515 wrote:06/05/2005

If they did, It probably wont be played as its own tune. Hopefully as a jam and they just use those 4 chords.Nitro1515 wrote:No there are two others Stolen Away and the AB Intro. I bet they play EWU and Stolen Away, but I doubt they will play the intro.KahnTheRevelator wrote:When are they gonna debut EWU?? Is that the only SU song left?

i have to say i think last nights set was def the strongest set there has been on this tour so far. maybe they are finally gettin into the groove of everything and we will get some solid sets here with a good variety and some good old tunes

Shitdamn DMB shows rock...
Night 2 at Burgettstown was another kickin show. Me, my girl, and some good friends of mine took a bus up and got our drink on, setting the mood for the show. Robert Randolph and the Family Band jammed the place out. The played Calypso, I Need More Love, some song, Axel F, and Nobody. Columbus, get there early, so you can check these dudes out. When DMB came out, you could tell they were feeling it. OSW started us off, followed by PNP->Rapunzel. I was stoked to finally hear some BTCS material. They followed up with Dreamgirl, which was pretty good even though I heard it last night. All the lights go (i.e. middle of joyride last year) at the beginning and dave does some african wailing like at the beginning of the new album. DMB busted out Grey Street next. The end was jammed out pretty long, LeRoi bringing the fire. I actually could of sworn before one of LeRoi's solos last night Carter said, "Bring that fire LeRoi." I'm not sure what track it was, Ill have to check the recordings on dreamingtree. So after a stellar grey street, they played smooth rider, with some jammage, followed by Too Much. After that came my favorite of the night. Robert Randolph came out and played Louisiana Bayou with the band. He definatly added alot more to the song. Boyd came up next to his slide guitar and rocked the song hard. Check general dmb, Nitro uploaded it, its definatly worth listening too. After it was done Randolph and Boyd high-fived and hugged, making a classic DMB moment. After that came Lover Lay Down, which I never heard live before. Really good track. Hello Again, Jimi Thing, You Might Die Trying, So Much To Say, Stand Up, and Two Step closed out the set, each with unbelievable energy and power. Carter on Hello Again was ridiculous, and Dave's air guitar scat solo on Jimi Thing was hillariously goooood. Two Step was damn good too, even though it was the third time I saw it end the regular set. The encore was Old Dirt Hill and the debut of Ants, with a snare/funk intro. The show was better than last night, but not by much. I was really glad to see there were only 4 repeats between the two nights (dreamgirl, stand up, louisiana bayou, you might die trying).
Great set, great show, cant wait for the second show in Columbus

They opened up with Everyday in Columbus.
I'm going there tomorrow so I really hope they don't play the stone or billies tonight.
Right now they are jamming.
