DMB Vids and Audio clips in one location

Hi all,

I'd like to put all vids and clips (that so many have put effort into providing) up in one location, instead of having to trawl through countless threads. I'll provide the space. Needless to say, all credit (and email addresses/links) will be given to the creator of the clip.

I'll need permission from everyone, though.

Any objection?

Any particulars that should be included?

... man, this forum is so quiet during the day (here in England)...

On my hard drive I must have about every video clip that has posted on this site in the last two years. Let me know if you need me to send them to you or if I can help out in some other way.

It doesn't get better than that. How big are they all in total (in Mb). I'll work out how much space I got, then give you the username and password to the domain to upload it to.

I'll then organise them and post the URL to all.

Once this is all completed, it will allow us to see which videos have not yet been created. I will help out in trying to finish of the ones not done so we can try and get a video for every song.

i didnt understand much of this thread...are u talkin about uploading all the videos on a site/hard drive and let ppl dl em? a friend of mine did a similar thing...he created a virtual lan w/ hamachi, uploaded songs and vids on his hard drive and let us download em via FTP...
if u are going to use ur hard drive, i suggest u hamachi...it solves all the problems about NATs and stuff...

I have about a Gigs worth of web space, that I'm to put them all on, permanantly. It will certainly cost a bit, so I have a look at hamachi.

I think I should just create another account on ourmedia and post all of the videos and clips that have been made on there. That way nobody has to spend any of their own money and everything will be in one place. Plus on that site you can both stream and/or download everything, whichever you prefer.

Edit - Also I will post the password so everyone can update it with their own videos/clips. Everyone will get credit for their own work as well because it lists who created each file.

I started on that this morning with Pats, and others.

But what I have done is created our own web page (that can be linked from the boards here). This page will have the OurMedia files embedded in it. In other words it will be stored on OurMedia, but viewed on our own pages with no obvious referance to OurMedia. Navigation will be a lot cleaner that way, and we can customise the way it looks.

Would you like me to group yours up with the others, or would you rather do it separately? I've created a general account on OurMedia for DMBTab users to share, the username and password I will post shortly.
