Warehouse and Watchtower were unbelieveable. Butch and Carter went off during Warehouse and Dave did the FIRE outro to Watchtower. Too Much was good. Louisiana Bayou had an really good jam at the end. Hunger for the Great Light is an awesome song. Old Dirt Hill just sucks. At first I thought it was because of Carter but he didn't sing tonight and it still sucked assholes. I really really love that cover of the Zombies. Great work there.
Sounded like a solid concert. Too bad about ODH, its one of my favorites off the album, but it sounds like it sucks live.

I was at the show last night. ODH is so weak live. I did see on the monitors that Carter and Butch were singing the "Bring that beat back to me again" along with Dave. The crowd was NOT into it at all. I wonder if the band can pick up on that shit. The crowd did start clapping at the end when the guys just sing "Bring that beat back to me again" over and over. Other than that, no one near me was into it. There was a lot of chatter and sitting down during this one.

For an encore, I think it really sucked. And they could have saved the encore by playing a great song after ODH, but it was Billies. Billies is one of my favorite songs, but I was hoping for something a bit more obscure/rare for the encore.

I was psyched to hear Grey Street. I was on 10 while they were playing it. Also, Warehouse was great. And Lover Lay Down and Crash were nice surprises (I was there with my fiance, who loves Crash, otherwise I would have taken a piss break during this song). She actually got to hear Crash last year at Alpine, 8/8, and again last night. Great luck she has. They also played Lover Lay Down on 8/8/04. I couldn't believe I was hearing it again last night. Lousiana Bayou is a great song live, as is Hello Again always. Smooth Rider was great jammed out a bit.

IMO this show was great, but a bit heavy on the Stand Up material. Most of the songs are good live though. Cut Stand Up and ODH out of the mix and I think it would have been better.

He was behind the mixer during the show, or part of it. I was in Section 205, the mixer was right infront of the 200s, dead center with the stage of course.

My fiance actually spotted him first and said, jokingly "Hey, isn't that Lil Jon?" and I laughed, but then I stood up and said, "You know who I think that actually is...Mark Batson". I saw some other guys ahead of us standing up looking over at him too.

A guy at Ants also said he saw him behind the mixer bobbing his head to Smooth Rider. I thought it was kind of cool to see him there.

The post of the guy that saw him is the second one on the page.

It was kind of cool seeing him there. My fiance brought up a good point though. There were times in the show, during the Stand Up songs like Old Dirt Hill, when you could tell the crowd just wasn't feeling it. She said that she wonders if Batson could pick up on that, and could tell the difference in when they play a song like Warehouse, and how the crowd reacts, and when the play Old Dirt Hill, and how the crowd reacts...or doesn't react as the case may be.

It was the 2nd show of the tour though, so Batson would probably chalk it up to people not knowing the new stuff that well yet.
