Summer Tour Setlists

Unread post by mlb1399 » Fri Jun 03, 2005 9:10 am

17/36 songs they have played on 6-1 and 6-2 are from Stand Up.

Now I understand they are trying to get people liking the songs from their new album, but doesn't half of the songs seem high? I can't really remember them playing that many songs from a new album before(or maybe I just have selective memory).

I can only compare it to the concerts I went to when new albums were released. Everyday-2001, concert I went to had 7/17 songs from the album, Busted Stuff-2002-4 out of 18.

Maybe someone else can comment on this, but do they start off the tour playing a lot more off the new album and then cut back a little bit.

I sure hope by the time they play Alpine Valley it is around 4 or 5 out of 17 :-)

Yeah, that scares me too.

According to the almanac, they have only played 1 BTCS song.

Why would they not play at leat a few more songs off of what they consider their best album?

I have mixed feelings. I'm glad I got to hear the new stuff without all the production BS and jammed out, but on the other hand, I wish I heard some older stuff I like.

Yeah, if there is any chance of my starting to like some of these new songs it will have to be live. I simply have not been impressed with the new album. Hello Again is about the only song that I look forward to hearing.

I definitely think it would be a mistake if they were to just shove this down our throats by playing 8 or 9 songs every show. Depending on how Alpine goes, will determine if I go to more than 1 concert this year. I will not drive 3-6 hours and pay $50 to hear songs that I really don't like that much.

yeah i hope so.

i'm going to 4 shows. and i'd like to have it mixed up a bit. but if he's doing a 2 night venue, he'll prob mix it up a bit. he normally does pretty diff sets the 2 nights. only exception i can think of really is playing the standard 4 songs every show last year.
