Where are they on 7/2/05? Philly?

This probably belongs in the tour section, but it has some general attributes too. Where is DMB playing on July 2nd? According to DMB almanac, they are playing at two places, Saratoga and Philadelphia. It seems like it would be a pain for them to place in two places at once. I am curious because the philadelphia location is the Art Museum stairs, which I can see from the doorstep of my apartment. So a dmb concert outside my apartment would rock. If this is really happening and someone wants to tape it, let me know you are coming and I can hook you up with some lunch or something while you are in the area.

Well it said this on DMB Almanac:

Dave Matthews appeared at a press conference and announced that DMB would be part of a series of free global concerts called "Live 8" which are scheduled to take place on July 2nd. "Live 8" concert will be held simultaneously in Philadelphia, PA; London, England; Rome, Italy; Paris, France and Berlin, Germany.

The "Live 8" concerts are part of the ONE countdown to the G8 Summit to urge President Bush and other leaders of the world's 8 wealthiest nations to save millions of lives when they meet together in Scotland July 5-8, 2005.

So it sound like the are committed, you know. But since its the second night in Saratoga, it seems funky that they would play at SPAC, come down to Phili in the day, and then back to SPAC. I really have no idea, but found the Live 8 thing interesting. Hope they play outside ur pad though.

they're doing live 8 in the day, and going back to spac i think

EDIT - yup, official site says they'll still do the saratoga show - this blows though, i'm 40 mins from philly, and i won't be home - although theres gonna be a shitload of people there, but a great concert that i'm unfortunately missing

With all those bands, they will probably play like 4 songs.
