After Her

Unread post by gitarCASE » Fri May 27, 2005 8:15 am

I hear this song a while back and really liked it but i lost it on my files. Thanks to nitro i got it back. But i heard this big rumor about how this was the original song, and Dave slowed it down and changed the words to make satellite. Anyone know anything about it?

Im not sure if it's doucmented..But isn't it obvious that After Her is the predecessor to Satellite? Same harmony on lyrics, same guitar parts.

I have always called it "After Her Kiss", now I know it is just "After Her".

But yes it is very obvious that it has to be the predecessor to Satellite. Has the a bunch of the same lyrics and the same guitar parts.

Great song too!

There's only one known version of the song, and it's the one you have. It's from the Rutebega Studio demos and it's *just Dave solo.

I'm fairly sure that it's just solo acoustic guitar - I may be wrong though.
