dave sees a lot of women and goes. They're pretty women, they must be prostitutes.
The cab driver goes, they're prostitutes, but they aren't women

Actually it is from "Storytellers". The setlist for that show was much longer than what was showed on Vh1 and lucky for us someone was there to record it all...here is the setlist:

The Stone (Can't Help Falling In Love)
Davespeak: Naked in San Francisco Hotel
Crush
Too Much
Davespeak: Cave Crickets
Bartender * -->
Don't Drink the Water (This Land Is Your Land)
Davespeak: Dave explained some songs
Satellite
Two Step
Crash Into Me (Dixie Chicken)
Davespeak: Story about Big Voice Jack
Tripping Billies (Nature)
Davespeak: explained Tripping Billies
So Much To Say
Christmas Song +
Warehouse (Passion)
John the Revelator
Lie In Our Graves
Jimi Thing (What Will Become of Me) -->
Pantala Naga Pampa
Spoon
Ants Marching
Encore:
Say Goodbye
Dancing Nancies

* In the encore he explained the significance of the song and said he was presently calling it "Bartender"
+ He started playing this song twice, but had trouble with the speakers both times. It was never played through.

Wow I always wondered where the song DancingNacies came from.

Thanx for the download and the info.

I don't believe that to be the meaning behind the song, nor the intention used with the phrasing however, still does not take away in my opinion either way. It's more allusive as to be anyone, anyone other than me.

oh stop it boyz!

(thanks for the hook-up on the song)

Yeah, but that's not the appropriate context. Dave's use of the word comes from the word nancy in the South African dialect of English, and it refers to a crossdressing prostitute if I recall correctly.
Ha ha, Just a few minutes ago I was just watching one of the Chapelle DVDs of that Schlipps Beer commercial. I know full well about crossdressing prostitutes. :D
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
