i like it, EXCEPT, this is the shirt you buy ahead of the show to wear, or buy on your way and and put it on. now theyre playing outside venues, black and the summer sun, bad idea, and for the pavilion people who dont get direct sun theres that "heavyweight" cotton part.

actually, at D&F in Boston i was in a McDonalds across the street, and i was buying a bootleggers last shirt. then the cops came in and started taking the guy away, but he begged them to let him sell his "last" shirt to me. and they actually let him (turns out he lied i wanted a L and it was an XL so i can never wear it, it's massive)
but after he sold it to me, the took him away. i think they arrested him. not sure though.

i will never wear a dmb shirt to a dmb show, or any other band's shirt to their show.

i quit buying shirts in 2001 i think. the prices are ridiculous.
"Forget about what you are escaping from," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to."

The last DMB shirt I got was the stick figure shirt about 10 years ago when I was in 6th grade.

I knew some folks (dmb fans) who toured with them, but it wasn't offically touring because they were only doing 15-20 shows a summer. Im sure most people quit touring becasue they are sick of the high school atmosphere at these shows. The most I ever hit in one year was 6 but that was in the early days. Now IM lucky to see 3 a year.
I have all tour shirts up to 2002 I think (starting at 95)

the scene has definitely changed the most i caught was five in '00, 2 riverbends and 3 deer creeks, i generally see 1-2 a year now, dmb doesnt care for cincy they play only 1 night pretty much anymore and the two closest places columbus and deer creek are two-night stands, and with the set generally not differing much at all i dont see why it is worth it to make the trip.
