Unread post by 417roylat » Fri May 20, 2005 12:10 am

Trace Bundy is the first person ive seen do this. I have played around w two capos on at the same time, but this is pretty crazy, great skillz. The video is here...

Does anyone know what tuning his guitar is in. I know he likes the DADGAD, anyone...?

Can someone explain to me how this works exactly? More than one capo?

the vaginal fluid they are secreting is the same composition of urine minus the uric acid and phosphorous. i learned that in 11th grade anatomy. btw, sometimes it does have a FAINT smell of Pizzle.

Okay, it is actually 5 capos. And to be honest, it is really more for show than anything...kind of a novelty thing. By the time he puts all of the capos on, he has pretty much made the ones he put on first kind of useless. The first capo is just a standard one on the second fret. The second one covers the d,g,b, and high e string on the fourth fret. The third one covers all of the strings except for the low E string on the fifth fret. The fourth one is just a regular capo turned backwards so that only the a,d, and g strings are covered on the seventh fret. The fifth covers the d,g,and b string on the ninth fret I believe. It is absolutely excessive, but he tells a story as he putting each capo on and plays a different song for each capo layer. In this intro he plays several songs, like Fur Elise. The five capos may not make sense from a musical standpoint, but it sure is entertaining to watch.

I can dig it for a bit. it'd be cool to see live but I'd never buy the CD. It's mostly show to me...

I really like this style of music, it just seems more fun to play. The only cd's I own of this style are Justin King and Preston Reed. In the version of that song on the sticky post, he tears some of the capo's off mid-song in order to play different systems. It's probably still unecessary, but there is a method to his madness.

I admire anyone who can come up with a new way of using the equipment that we're all familiar with, but (as many people have already said) the first capos become redundant by the time you get three more on top. For this reason, it's really just a novelty kind of thing to me - fun to watch, but rapidly tiring.

but they arent redundant because once hes taken the three off, the last one left becomes in use...so they really arent redundant the whole time
