I wrap it around a few times on the thinner strings (like the B and E strings), just to get a better nut to tuner angle.
Ill guess and say that Rudy Guiliani (spelling?) will atleast run for president in the republican primaries. Will Kerry run again? Who knows. If Hillary runs in the democratic primaries, im pretty sure she'll get the nomination over Kerry anyway.
I am gonna go back to my old way. This was gonna be my first time using mediums, i was soo excited.
Kerry wont run again, no chance. Hillary might run, but could never win. Thank margaret thatcher for that one. I guliani runs i'd like to see him hurt badly. that guy is a dildo.

I've never used elixer strings. Is the greatest upside that they last longer? I use martin marquis because they're cheap and they sound pretty good to me. In my usage, I usually have to replace strings not because they snap, but because the copper gets cut on some strings and unwinds itself so the string starts buzzing and can't stay in tune. Does anybody else have this problem, and will elixer's aleviate this?

On the question of stringing your guitar, check out Taylor guitars quarterly publication, " Wood & Steel". In their Spring 2005 issue, they had an article on the new and improved TaylorWay of changing steel strings. I assume this article can be found on their website, but if it can't, let me know and I'll try and scan it... or retype it. I had been restringing my guitar in a similar fashion to some of you by wrapping around the tuning post and then over the string creating a kink, but I think I'll try this method. It doesn't appear to be anything too profound, but they do have some helpful hints.

i ussually feed it through like 4-6 inches then tighten and tune then either cut off or curl the remaining string. i curl it on my ghetto blastin acoustic, but i cut on my chet cuz its too classy
