You Might Die Trying Tab

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

You Might Die Trying Tab

Unread post by MooreDrums » Thu May 12, 2005 3:04 am

Ok... I know this just came out, but here is my take on it.

I watched the roseland vid to get it, but it isn't clear on it all....

Intro/Verse
e|----------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------|
G|----------------------------------------------|
D|-----x---x---x---x-----x----x-----x---x----|
A|-----8---8---8---10---10---10---12--12---|
E|----10--10--10--10---10---10---10--10---|

e|-----------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------------2---|
D|-----x---x---x---x-----x----x-----x---x-------3---|
A|-----8---8---8---10---10---10---12--12----3---|
E|----10--10--10--10---10---10---10--10----1---|

Bridge
e|---------------------|
B|---------------------|
G|----0---3---2-------|
D|----0---3---3-------|
A|----2---5---3-------|
E|----3---6---1-------|

Jam
Dave does a lot of picking around the 10 and 12th frets

If you want to just chord along with a cool rhythm it is just D and F

e|------------|
B|------------|
G|--7---2----|
D|--7---3----|
A|--5---3----|
E|--x---1----|

Feel free to make any changes you see necessary. This is my first tab, so let me know what you think...

Thanks,
Dilon

well seeing as when I made the tab the Roseland Vid had just come out, so I didn't have much time to really try to figure it out. ON TOP OF THAT, My picking is something that lacks to be desired. However you on the other hand, probably figured it out on air guitar... HEHEHE

BTW that isn't me making fun, I have seen your vids and bookmarked your web site. You are an amazing guitarist.
