John Mayer.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

haha that was funny

Carter I believe is the most talented memeber, but thats not to say he is 100% accurate, he tries many many new and difficult things for each song and pulls it off great, every now and then he may slip, but he is experimenting for the better of the song.

Any drummers out there wanna either back me up or diagree with me on this: On the UTTAdrumming video he seems to be slighty off near the end of billies.
It's not that he misses strokes but that he tries to be creative and goes brain for a second, but recovers not with a mistake but perhaps an empty space or less groovy section

yea i agree, fundamentally, carter and stefan are way up there i think. Boyd seems to be musically knowldgeable as well except he cant keep his instrument tuned

i believe ive read that in terms of musicial knowledge, the band agrees that leroi is tops.

also, drummers really cant mess up. i mean, that sounds weird, but like...if the drummer messes up, everything gets throw off and people notice. therefore, at least from what ive noticed, all good drummers, once you get to be a "good" drummer in high school even, rarely screw up. this is like, how they are trained or whatever. hats off to them.

thats funny cause i have heard great things musically about stefan, boyd, and carter but prolly not so much about leroi althought it is very possible he is the most musically proficient of them all. obviously butch cant count being he is the unnofficial member IMO.
you make a good point about drummers. they do alwayshave to be ontop of the beat or else thigns will fall apart very quickly. carter can always throw in crazy fills and small solos but as long as he gets back on the beat the band still sounds great

Yeah I got to say that is a very true point...a drummer has thousands of options just got to keep the time and if he gets oddly creative its more respectible keeping the time...just gotta feel it out, drummers wont mess up

my lord, have you seen the 30 minute #41 on jelly's website. he goes nuts on parts of that and seriously does make roi look like he doesnt even know how to play a sax. he is hitting some of the craziest notes and just goin crazy on it. at parts it almost sounds like he is way off the beat but he really isnt which is a cool trick cause he ends up coming right on the beat after a few measures. its pretty damn awesome

The thing with leroi is that he is very unflashy and always plays what fits. Jeff, despite being an AMAZING player, probably one of the most talented out there right now, gets very busy and hard to swallow at times. leroi is always solid as fuck and never misses a beat.
