***Taylor 414ce Rosewood for sale***

Unread post by sacdeez » Thu May 19, 2005 9:45 pm

I have a Taylor 414ce L2 for sale. Rosewood back/sides, expression system, gloss finish and white binding. Serial # 20031201050. This was a part of the fall limited edition guitars and somewhat rare. I've properly humidified this guitar since the day I bought it with the Podium guitar custom humidifier and always in its case. The guitar is in good shape except for 2 things. There are a couple tiny dings on the rear and there is a 1 inch hairline crack in the finish which was just professionally repaired by the Taylor authorized repair facility at Hoffman Guitars under full warranty. They commented on how well taken care of the guitar was when I picked it up. I tried to take a picture of the crack but I couldn't get one. I did however get one of the diamond piece of wood to ensure the crack doesn't go any further. Otherwise the guitar is in great shape and sounds amazing. It's aged a little and opened up. This guitar sounds amazing through a PA and I have gotten many compliments on the sound and looks. I'm pretty sure everyone knows what I paid for it new so I'll entertain offers, just please don't lowball me.

If you'd like pics or have any questions please email me: chadkolson@hotmail.com or IM me on AOL: minnesotamoon0 Thanks for looking. http://photobucket.com/albums/y204/minn ... lor%20414/

Here are 2 of the exact same models on Ebay. I guess if I had a ballpark for the guitar it would be around these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...7324341639&rd=1

Thats a sweet guitar. Nice way to get a Rosewood guitar at not too high of a price. I was considering buying that same one (last years model though) but went with a 12-string instead since I didn't have one.

I wasn't aware Taylor offered a gloss back and sides for the 4 series. I thought it was 5 and up.
