not really, if you just wash your hands before you play and keep your guitars clean they last forever. plus i use meds which last long too.

I wasn't joking. I know a guy who got lockjaw from playing rusty guitar strings.

I suppose if you wash your hands every time, don't sweat, and keep your guitar in it's case when not in use, they would last quite a while.

Yeah but still, after a year, it would be noticable shearly from playing alone, if you play as much as you claim to. Try throwing a new set of strings on praise, I bet you'll notice a difference..

i do notice a difference, but i have no problem with how my guitar sounds now, so even though the sound would improve i dont see a need to spend money and time to change em
