Pay for what you Get solo (Timmy)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Can someone point me in the right direction to find the Tab for the solo on "Pay for what you get". @ the 12-16 D+Friends Boston, Fleet Center Show it started at 2:41. I suck at searches so maybe you can help

shut up bk. no need to be an ass.

the thing is...i don't know how much luck you'll find trying to get a tab to a specific solo on a specific date. first you'd have to be lucky enough that one of us has a copy of that show...and then this specific person cares enough to learn a timmy solo note for note. (doesn't happen really)

so yeah...i think pat's answer helped you the most. fool around with the Dm scales.

get the program transcribe. it lets you play the song in slow motion which makes it a lot easier to tab songs.

That is a pretty ridiculous request. I mean, tims solos are different every single time. The thing you should focus on is what scale he is using, and that will help you understand his techniques. You will never progress as a guitarist if you dont try to figure stuff out w your ear. Learn some scales, and read up on some music theory. The key is to develop your ear. Not trying to be rude, but i dont know how you expected a tab for a solo from a single live show. I mean, there are probably 30 different tim solos for payforwhatyouget, that hes done throughout the years. Plus its more fun to improv and make up your own solos, either in timmys style or your own. Practice practice practice,
