Stefan...

Unread post by Bartender2424 » Sun Aug 17, 2003 3:11 pm

I love the Dave Matthews Band, favorite of all time. I like the way they play, I love their songs and I love their style. The only thing that I have a problem with is the amount of jaming Stefan does. Unleash the beast, dammit. You all know when stefan does his solos for watchtower, Dreaming Tree(sometimes), Two step, and Recently, everybody drools in their pants. They should let him have more solos then 3 or 4 songs, come on! Who agrees?

I've heard stefan is a real jerk off though. Any body got any backround on this. His jamming is really good, and he is very underated and over shadowed by other members of the band, such as Leroi and Carter and even Dave.

who'd you hear that from? i haven't heard much about him...he's pretty low-key, really. he seemed like a funny guy from the Musichoice Gorge special, though, so i don't know. :)

Yeah that's what I figured, but he's always been interviewed away from the group, and I believe he's been qouted saying that Dave steals his ideas and shit like that. Again this is just what i've heard, my impression of him is that he was just quiet, but always seemed to have a good time on stage.

I love that thing that he does when he gets into a part of a song, and his body jus bounces side to side really fast  its funny, but cool nonetheless.

Its gotta be hard, though, when you are seven or so years younger than the rest of the band. Thats gotta be a real handicap to labor under. Even if he is every bit as good a musician as dave.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
