First songs to play/sing

yea so i was wondering what are good easy songs to learn to play and sing at the same time. i want to do granny as it is my fav song, (see sn) or dancing nancies. sorry if there's already a thread about this 2 lazy 2 search.

nancies is pretty easy to sing. crash into me wasn't too bad. granny's a little trickier than the first two. i'll back you up...if you can hit those high notes. hehe. christmas song, #41. those are the ones that i can remember off the top of my head.

oh yea i should probably tell you i just started singing and can't hit high notes and also probably couldn't scream forever like in #41 or watchtower.

ants marching sounds hard i think, but once it clicks it's really easy.

Ants is tricky, especially if you want to get the muted strums in there correctly. Halloween is pretty easy (and fun to improvise!!! hehe.), so are spoon and diggin a ditch.

I learned to play/sing Proudest Monkey and PFWYG really good. PFWYG isn't hard at all.

I should have mentioned PFWYG. When you get the hang of the rhythm and sequencing to crush, crush is not hard to sing along with. Busted stuff, regardless of the tuning, is easy too.

I just recently learned to sing with crash. that was honestly the greatest feeling ever. it took me a while... for some reason, i could sing to ants almost right away. but i have trouble singing during the chorus. Dont know why. But i'd say Ants.

not that i can play warehouse like dave, but once you get your hands moving on the verse, the singing is not hard....it's the damn MUTING.... :x
