Hello Again / Louisiana Bayou

Unread post by Alfonso41 » Tue May 10, 2005 6:32 pm

Is anyone else pissed, well maybe not pissed, but upset about how they cut out Carter's solo and as well as Dave wailing at the end to go into Louisiana Bayou? That ending part was pretty much my favorite part when they played it this summer, but oh well. I gotta say, I was pretty scared when they cut to that song. I was listening to Hello Again full blast then it just stops and goes into that guitar riff...Ca-Razy! SOrry if this has already been said, i just didnt feel like fishing through all the other threads.

Peace,
Seanathan

It's the studio version. I'm actually kind of glad they cut it there, so people that don't go to live shows don't get to hear the awesomeness that is that song :)

this thread is on every forum hehe.

i kindof agree. 2 complaints (the only ones) about this album are that cut, and carter's Nick Carter sounding voice on Old Dirt Hill.

still love it though.
"Forget about what you are escaping from," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to."

Yeah, I've gotta say that Carter's vocals on that song are horrid. And just on that song. I love his vocals live... (though I prefer Butch's)

Thats a cool way to think about it.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Hello Again was butchered. It sounds waaaay too bluegrass for my taste.

Louisiana Bayou - what the hell are these guys thinking?

My goodness. Could I have become to "old" for DMB?

And I don't feel it necessary to blow DMB in my posts like some. A bad album is a bad album. This is a bad album. They can't all be gems.

Isn't this the band's final contractually obligated release with RCA?

Are you fucking serious? That's bullshit. I thought those discs came in either the day of the release or the very next morning after?

That sucks.

Nothing is worse than waiting for a package and watching the truck drive by.
