Driven Dave Matthews

On VH1 right now Driven Dave Matthews. It's a re-run, but I have seen a lot of Dave questions lately.

I watched the majority of it. That early shit was giving me chills, I am suddenly urged to drop out of school and start playing guitar all day everyday. But I wont, I wish I was Dave...

dave had a lot of natural talent that made him good at what he does. sadly, i don't have that talent either. I guess i'll be fine with being in highschool making 5.75/hour

Just as a late reply, my username is in reference to Because of Winne Dixie.
For those of you that haven't seen it there is a part at twords the end where one of Dave's lines is "I brought pickles".

Go see the movie, it's good especially if you have kids.

Sorry about the late reply, I just got a new amp and have been playing for a while, I know I know wrong forum, it's just that it is the bee's knee's.[/quote]

I remeber early in the year when I was still getting the hang of ROTC and I thought it sucked, I wanted to quit and wondered what else I could do, with guitar being my only other major talent. But I agree that unless you either have connections or are uber rich dropping school for guitar is not worth it.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Dave was neither. I think skill and a strong will to achieve and not give up can get you there. I of course have neither your two criteria or mine, so it doesnt really matter anyway.

It's a fantasy. They're a million Dave Matthews out there. People that are better and nobody will ever hear of them.

I doubt theres even a few bands out there like DMB that Ill never hear that I would like more or are better. Let alone millions (which I assume was an overexaggeration, but still)
