I think technically jimi thing is one of the most intricate songs because of all the parts to it. If you're telling someone how to play it youre like, oh , this is an easy one, its all in this riff. Then you're like, oh, then there's the chorus, thats easy. Oh, wait, you do that thing after it. Then you do that other thing. Oh, crap, that thing too. Then you're like, damn, there is actually alot to this song. AND THEN the bluesy jam out ...well, then you just stop explaining and show 'em how its done.

I friggin love this song.

my teacher in my guitar class brought in her strat this past friday and asked me to come up and play a song for the class (because its a beginning guitar class and im one of the only ones that actually plays the guitar) and i started jamming out jimi thing, and when i started playing everyone was off playing their own thing, then by the time i got back to the verse riff again i looked up and everyone was just locked on me with their toes tappin. it was a cool experience.
