Two Step strumming

Unread post by lzldmb » Wed Aug 13, 2003 7:10 pm

I was wondering if, during the intro, he strums the bottom strings open. Sounds like he does, and in LS it seems like he isn't muting them, so do I just play the bottom two open?

Could you be hearing the violin instead of the guitar?
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

More like do unto your pre-show joint as dave would.

I just let the fingers fall where they may...if the strings get strummed, fine.

At least for dave. It sounds sad, but I'd almost hate to think of a dmb show where dave is actually sober!

Dave's not as cool sober. I mean, he wouldn't be Dave without it.

He wouldn't do all his cool voices or vocal tics either sober.
"I slouch so badly, now I've got a little boob."
"I'm not very good at explaining my songs because I just work here."
10 second acid trip:
"cough whoa whee aieh shoo uuuuh agh humma hubba whoah" that was pretty cool
