I only have the equipment to record a video in AVI format, but it's a huge file, so is there any way i can convert it to a file thats smaller so it won't take 20 minutes for people to download it?

i dont really know how to help you with this one..but maybe try posting in the recording and critiquing forum somebody there can probably help

google an encoder. Dont know if you will find anything but it is worth a try.
And most video files of about 5 minutes are around 40 or 50 mb. And depending on your connection it could take a while to download. So if it is that size then it isnt really that big. Otherwise try finding an encoder.

what are you using to get the video on the computer? if your using premiere or something, they usually can export different video formats.

Download the Stoik Video Converter, its free and it can reduce avi files.
