Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

- Courtesy of AmIDreaming.org. That's the most accurate one I've seen and it flows nicely. On the bridge, before playing the walkdown you play the first 6 chords a few times. Listen to UTTAD to get it right.

The version with lyrics is very nice. I've only found one version, though. Some very nice playing by Leroi.
These are the lyrics to it in case anyone's interested:
Oh my head lay back on the seating
Been so tired throw away my surrounding
Like the sun and moon take for granted
Soon we move through the flood and we fade away
Lie about it, Cry about it
We'll be ok
Lean upon me, I'll lean upon you
We'll be ok
Oh I lay myself at your feet laughing
Hope mine eye made of the soul choir
Lean upon me, I'll lean upon you
We'll be ok
Lie about it, Cry about it
Soon fade away, Lie about it
Cry about it
We'll be ok
Lean upon me, I'll lean upon you
We'll be ok

ok so i can play the tab from amidreaming.org and it sounds great solo until i get to the bridge where u play the 577 and 799 parts. i counted that dave plays that 12 times. doing it even 3 times solo ruins the song. can anyone tab out what leroi plays during that part for the guitar. that would make the bridge flow more smoothly. any other tips would be great.

Anyhow, Don't you think if their is a tab book on an Artist it should be what he/she plays? Not necessarily exactly, but pretty damn close.
If i were to get a tab book i would want to play it the way Dave plays it, not how some Joe Schmoe plays it.
and consider this perhaps, Mr. Schmoe can't stretch like dave because he hads small hands, perhaps he would like to have an alternate, less strenuous way to play the song...
and i hate to sound more mean than i already have, but if you feel like you must play it exactly like dave in every way, then Mr. Schmoe will go on to other artists' songs and will surpass your guitar playing by many miles...

I found a kickass version with words that I downloaded. he words rule. The song is like a shot of morphine right through the skull. I listened to it in my car and nearly fell asleep at the wheel.
