You got another guy playing The Stone with you? There are a lot of fun things to do with it. My friend plays the fifths, then a quick strum on the Gm a la verse riff, same on Dm, back to Gm, then back into the fifths on the intro riff.
It's cool, I recommend it. And good luck!

Re: hat and guitar
It's open mic. The reason you're there is to play in front of people. Your wardrobe should be the least of your concerns.6_strings_for_life wrote:Ok here is my question. Do you guys think that it is impolite or rude to wear a hat at a open mic? I have never really seen many people do this, but I have to play at a open mic tomorrow. I want to wear a hat cause I always do, but i think it may be inappropriate. I remember a friend telling me that he saw OaR and the lead singer wore a hat the whole time and it was kind of a drag.
This may be a stupid topic, but please discuss.

For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again
