Unread post by Dan5290 » Sat Apr 23, 2005 1:00 am

Alright, this is me on guitar and vocals, and my friend Kelley also on vocals:

EDIT: Screw excuses.

Alright, I'm done with the preface. If you could take a listen and tell me what you think, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

-Dan

nice job, i like the idea of the duet...definately work on your timing...your singing fell behind the guitar playing alot...guitar was a bit choppy..just let it flow..you played the chords right, it was just choppy..like you were thinking about playing the song way to much...(if that makes sense)....
with more practice this could be a really great cover i think...
What did the five fingers say to the face...SLAP

you should try and mix up the guitar strumming pattern
your singin was off timing quite a bit...
the girl was a really nice touch

listen to the song some more and fix those timing errors. it could be really good if you did.

yea, timing was off and confused while you were singing. keep practicing on playing and singing at the same time. your voice isn't bad at all. duet was a nice touch. harmonies were off at times, but it was a nice attempt.

...don't make that many excuses in your first post. it'll make people not want to listen.
