To my disgust. I pray every day that quits before his voice gets officially fucked up.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Cigarettes should all be banished from the earth.

i agree.... i even did my occasional social smoking while i drank during college...and they do nothing but break down your body and make you feel shitty (under the candy coating of the small high you feel when keeping with the addiction)

cigs are brutal and they reek!

Cigarettes AGE you. When my Mom's car was broke I had to pick her up from her 25 year class reunion and she pointed out some of her old friends and noted with amazment how much older and withered the ones that had smoked or drank for the last quarter century looked. I definitely agreed.

Plus, I can count at least a half a dozen close relatives in my family who died from causes either directly or indirectly related to smoking.

I know what you're talking about. It gives that raspy quality to your voice. That's why I asked the question, I thought his voice sounded a little bit like he smoke. It can make your voice sound better.

Fomr what I read, Dave only smokes during the off season. That is when he is not touring or making an album.

I have smoked for 15 years and will be quitting in September.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": The food court is downstairs. The cookie stand is upstairs. It's not like we're talking quantum physics here.
