[ISO]Raven @ Benaroya Hall Lyrics (10-24-02)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I have the video if you'd like it.

It's amazing and a great version of one of my most favorite DMB songs.

Let me know!

It's amazing and a great version of one of my most favorite DMB songs.
I find this comment to be interesting. I think raven is one of my personal favorites from the band. However, you would think if it was a favorite, it would show up on more recorded concerts. Until the most recent live tracks, it was not on any of the recordings except for a warehouse release that not everyone would be able to receive. On the other hand, it could be possible that since we hardly hear it, it makes it that much more enjoyable to hear. I think you get to a point when warehouse and jimi thing just lose that leading edge even though they remain great songs. As for the topic, a link to the video would be great. :D

Really good vid. I love this song, anyone know how difficult it is to learn? looks tough-ish?

Not too difficult, there's only one moderately difficult stretch. If you are good at songs like Two Step and Say Goodbye this will be a breeze.

for the verse, if you can do the jam for WWYS, you can do it, for the chorus, if you can do When the World Ends, you can get the chorus down easy.

I really wish DMB would pull this back out and perform it in their typical setlist. We only heard this song on the 2000 tour, and barely at all in the 2002. I also wish Dave would do it 2000 style with improv lyrics. Sigh, great songs that they don't play anymore live :( . Oh well, just they better not take warehouse out of their setlists, lol, I just love that song too much.
