new original-look into the setting sun

Unread post by acusticdude » Sat Apr 16, 2005 8:01 pm

This is a song I just finished the other day. Like the waste cover I posted, the vocals are doubled. I have gotten feedback to drop the 2nd vocal, I just need to get off my lazy ass and do it. Let me know what you think of the song itself. I want to play it at open mic on monday and I don't want to clear the house. I usually just play covers with a random original dropped in there and I have not gotten a very good response to my songs. Anyway, any feedback would be greatly appreicated.

music isn't bad, not a huge fan of the lyrics or melody though. sounds too.... bubble gum.

eh, guitarsnt bad, but the lyrics are annoying with the doubling. the distortion makes it very unclean when listening to it... not bad overall, keep on workin

Nice use of "the dave chords", at least I think that's what I'm hearing. I agree with praise, the doubled vocals are kinda annoying on this one, but I still think you should do this one at the open mic.
