You do know they've had a keyboard on stage for about... 13 years?

Dream Girl is my favorite out of those so far. Smooth Rider sounds cool too.
Joy ride................Live version is my song of the moment. Album version? It wouldnt sound out of place on a Supermarket TV advert....unfortunetly!

Ballard and Dave essentially had the whole album finished when the band arrived using keyboards and other instruments to fill the other band members' parts. The band was essentially used as studio musicians for that album.

are these possibly the "synthesised" versions?

a lot of the instruments. especially the drums, sound like they're synthesised. and someone said something about how they were all written before the band got there, and were synthesised.

or is it just the new style?

I can imagine some of these songs live are going to be intense. like the whole audience shouting STAND UP! or everybody waaaaake uuuup.

Yeah WAKE ME UP from this bad dream.

Clips of songs are never a good gauge of their quality, but I can say I am not impressed and sadly I am let down.

These clips sound like Dave singing with a totally different band.

The whole things sounds like a bunch of things just thrown together.

I hope that after a good listen of the finished product my feelings will change, other wise, SHIT THIS IS A BAD OMEN!

i can tell stand up (the song) is gonna be soooooo good. it reminds me of p funk the way they have that deep voice at the begining. so tight.

Out Of My Hands is an outro to Everybody Wake Up

I like joyride. A nice remix from the live version this summer. Great transition to studio.

Vocals on Wake Up are WAAAAAAY too high. Cant hear the background nearly enough. Lyrics are fucking stupid too. This is the only song that I listened to and immediately didnt like.

I like stand up a lot... Fresh sound for the band but it still sounds great.

Smooth rider sounds AWESOME. Blues is not a direction I expected them to go towards on this album.

Out of my hands sounds very "Some Devil" to me. Real nice and mellow, I like it. Same for old dirt hill.

Dream Girl definitely sounds like an older-type dmb song, except with the background effects added. Could have some potental.
