im not saying thats a bad thing, BTCS was very different, but these song structures seem to be rushed, and the lyrics seem dead... well see though

the production is incredible. if you thing these seem rushed you need to just let them sink in, wear good headphones to listen.

Im not gonna judge song structures, lyrics, etc. extensively know because weve only heard 50 second clips of of half the album (all of American Baby) and I like everything Ive heard so far. If when I hear it in its entirety a few times my mind changes and I dont like it Ill be disappointed, but as of right now, I like what I hear.

Dave's guitar not as dominant as i'm used to, you can barely hear it. Dave has def. grown into his "adult" voice. I'm pretty happy with them though, you know you always hate a new album for atleast a week and then it becomes your fav.
Thanks for the links all!

I dont think his guitar is ever the dominant sound on an album really.

I do agree with the whole not liking new music thing though. Most of the time I hate a song the first time I hear it then it grows on me and becomes a favorite.

i like a lot Wake Up, Old Dirt Hill (they're very similar - i think it's the same key -) and Dream Girl (it sounds like "the 2nd single" very much (i hope this makes sense :D))

I think you guys are funny. Some of you act as if you are Randy Jackson or Simon Cowell the way you are critiquing this new album that hasn't even been released yet.

I will wait for the final product and then 2 weeks of listening I will make my comments.

like its been said teh guitar doesnt seem dominant compared to other stuff. i heard some strong beats by carter and some interesting additions b the rest of the crew. i think it will be a cool album.. might have to grow on me a bit but i will like it i think
