Just looking for someone out there who knows what a real Dave signature looks like. Im thinking of bidding on this item below and want to know if any of you guys can give me a decent clue if the signature is genuine. I know there are good copies out there, so if u cant thats ok.
Thanks!

Dont buy it unless it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Mine came with one and I know thats not definitive proof its real, but Id like to think it is.
(Ill resize/remove that later when Im not trying to study and post.)

the signature on jsgksu's picture and the signature on that every day cd look completely different. Maybe he changed his signature over time or something.

and an everyday one to top?

PS, it is impossible to replicate your signiture. so if you were to open them both in phoshop and resize them and cank up the opacity on one and they were perfect matches then that means one is a fake.
but the odds of you finding the one it was copied from is nearly impossible.

I acvtually love everyday. I just wouldnt pay extra for a signed copy. I'd rahter have a signed pic like Jayme got so you can put it up on a wall or something. a CD just sits and hides.

I don't understand why you would buy an autograph? I always thought the excitement of having an autograph was meeting the person?

My mom got me a DMb signed Guitar when i was going through my first tumor surgery in 1999. I like it. Plus, she has gotten me several guitar picks that dave uses & other autographed shit by the band. I posted a pic of my stuff along time ago. Anyway, Im not sure why I like having those things without meeting them. Perhaps I like them because they were gifts from my mom who worked very hard to get those things for me.
