Epiphone Chet Atkins pickup question

I have an Epiphone, Chet Atkins and the pickup crapped out on me. Does anyone know if I can put the same Fishman, Acoustic Matrix Natural II pickup that Dave has in his Gibsons in my Epiphone? Will it bolt right in? Does it have to be modified?

is the epi atkins the same as dave's? or is his a gibson atkins? I get SOOOOOOOOOO confused....

you should be!!!! Still, IMO, I think the Epiphone Chets are crap. I hate the feel, play, and sound. Sorry to be negative, but I don't like them.

Yes, the Gibson Chet Atkins are nice. I think Ranting was expressing his dislike of the EPIPHONE Chet Atkins.

Yes, the Gibson Chet Atkins are nice. I think Ranting was expressing his dislike of the EPIPHONE Chet Atkins.

yes, I love the Gibson version, I have played several different ones, and I loved them all. I tried a few Epiphone ones, and it just didn't play well, not really the song, I didn't like the feel of them. But, to each their own.

So have the people who own the Epiphone Atkins SST been happy? I am trying to decide whether to buy that or a Breed Love 12 String.
