I am definately a die hard dmb fan as well as a die hard john lennon fan. I like 99% of dmb's stuff. I think everyday was their worst album, but it's not bad. Also, I don't agree with some of the turns they take, or what they add or take when recording instudios, but doesn't mean I don't love the guys and follow always with what they are doing. I can play over 85% of their songs on guitar from complete memory, but I don't always play them like dave, sometimes I want a fuller sound so I stick on extra strings to one of his chords.
To be a die hard fan is to love the band, and to stick with them, and learn what is to learn about the band, and never stop loving them (weither in one song they do not do something you don't agree with). That's a die hard fan, imo. Hell, I love almost all Beatle songs. But there are a few Beatles and John solo songs that I don't care for. One Beatles song is Girl. I really never liked it, but I love the rest of rubber sole, and John is my hero.
To bitch about the band isn't being a die hard fan, but to love them and respect them even when they occasionaly don't do some thing you expescialy like, and still stick with them til the end, that's a die hard fan.

I think you can still be a die-hard fan and bitch about what they do. It just shows you care, haha. You can complain but still have respect. I keep shelling out for tickets, anyway.
(and if you want to really get me complaining, let's talk dmb ticket prices. I paid $23 for my first concert ticket to a dmb show.)

i agree. plus good good time also. i can't imagine why they would not put those songs on the Bside, and put MORE live versions of songs we've heard a billion times live, like osw etc.Ranting Thespian wrote:You know, you don't have to buy through the warehouse to get the b-side disc. All you have to do is get it from their store at musictoday.com . The warehouse one will just have a few more live tracks than the live tracks off the normal version. The 3 b-sides will be released on the non-warehouse one too. So, all you non warehouse people who want the b-sides, you are gonna get them. I really think they will be Joyride (which was said to almost have made it), crazy easy and sugarwill, because they have those songs down. If they aren't the studio versions, they have to be the live tracks then, lol.GuitarGuy305 wrote:I have high hopes that Sugar Will and/or Joy Ride will be one/two of the B-sides on the Warehouse disc.

I consider myself a "die-hard" beatles fan too. So much I know that "rubber sole" is actually rubber soul.Ranting Thespian wrote:I am definately a die hard dmb fan as well as a die hard john lennon fan. I like 99% of dmb's stuff. ok, I was nervous about this album at first. Then when Stefan said stuff about hhip hop and playing in clubs, I got scared. Then, American Baby was ok. Now after hearing more and more as the weeks went on, and more so. I am now going to take a big jump. I am going to say this album will be in a league of it's own, and if others were in that league, it would blow them away (I mean nothing can compared BTCS, but that would be not in the same league as this album). I now know that it's the boys, and I am sure I will love it.

so is it going to be better than BTCS or is it not comparable to BTCS?Ranting Thespian wrote:ok, I was nervous about this album at first.
