Exactly. The sound alone is soooo much better under the pavilion...at least thats how it is at Blossom. I will never see DMB @ Blossom on the lawn ever again.hofdaddy wrote:Damn straight! Once you get close, being elsewhere will not do!mbgreen wrote:You've never sat close, have you? I will never, ever go back to lawn. I won't even settle for reserved seating outside of the first 20 or so rows. It's a completely different show up there.c_tietze wrote:Honestly, Ticketmaster is expensive but I've never, ever not been able to get decent tickets to a DMB show from TM.
Secondly, people get waaaay too pickey and dis the lawn seating, I like the lawn and it's a lot more fun than being confined to one area.
I'd rather use TM than the WH. The WH requires you to PAY THEM $35 in ADVANCE for only a suggestion of getting good seats, not a promise.
With TM you wait in line and you get the tix IN HAND.

In nearly a decade that has not happened to me once. And computer errors are thigns that we all deal with on a daily basis and they just, well, they happen.bbatsell wrote:Not when their system goes "oopsie" and the concert is sold out before it recovers.c_tietze wrote:Honestly, Ticketmaster is expensive but I've never, ever not been able to get decent tickets to a DMB show from TM.

When there is no other alternative I don't understand why torture ourselves, Ticketbaster is a gestapo monopoly of sorts but I'd rather go to a TM outlet, wait in line and get my tix in hand rather than relying on a half promise from the WH.

Nah, center section five rows back at Foxboro years ago and only about 10-15 rows back at Central Park. I've been there done that, and honestly I like Dave and love DMB's music, but I don't need to see what his hands are doing, you know what I mean?mbgreen wrote:You've never sat close, have you? The concert experience tends to degrade with age and over time, I'd rather be in the lawn having a good time old school with my friends where I can move around and meet people.
Peace,
