***OFFICIAL BUTCH RULES THREAD***

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

yeah, i had that one a while back...kinda drags...anywho, yeah People People gets funny sounding with the "weeeeeeeeeee" part, but there is an AWESOME 10 minute version that is crystal clear and has a nice piano intro that kicks it into a jazzy gear...and the "weeeeeee"s are a little more tollerable too...

id say carter takes the cake overall without a doubt though :D
only drummers knows how good he really is

As a drummer, It is true in my opinion that drummers will appreciate Carter more and differently than non-drummers but non-drummers can still have an appreciate him. That being said I can appreciate Butch's playing, however maybe not as much as you pianists out there. I love the watchtower solo on FF, he really jazzes up Two Step in LS, CO, Gorge and Lie in our graves as well...I love the keyboards with DMB

page mcconnel (sp?) is a god among men. listen to the Live One album and listen to the piano solo after squirming coil. the first time i heard it i took a serious shit in my drawers. BTW brock's first post reminded me of coffee talk with linda richmond.
