i mean are they on ticketmaster? cause it seems that they're never in a big venue so i thought you may have to get the tickets at the location

I'm almost willing to bet money on the fact that if the new record, Stand Up, sells well, Dave will want to bring his music to smaller venues and will pick several songs from the album that go well with dual acoustics and bring tim in to see what he can add. If there is another dave and tim tour, it will probably be spring 2006.

I doubt this year will have one. Last I checked, a European tour was all but confirmed. They might have one again, but who knows. They went from 99 to 03 without touring together.

Because their involvment with timmy got sidetracked by lillywhite and everyday and they were limiting their use of guests to promote more unity within the band.

I'd be tempting if they came back to Cox, but after seeing them at D&F at the Key Arena I'm not sure how they could top their performance then. By that I mean tim kicked ass but limited his use of effects and just played mostly straight acoustic. The clarity of his tone and the granduer of his playing was magical. And I've never been a huge fan of his use of excessive effects on some songs.

D&T tours are not a secret event. When they occur, it will be announced in advance on the DMB official website. Tickets for the 2003 D&T Tour were well advertised in advance and could be obtained through the Warehouse and Ticketmaster. The only twist that I saw in 2003 was that because most of the venues they played at were universities, a certain % of tickets went on sale 24 hours in advance to people holding valid student ID cards.

So if Dave and Tim came to Cox again the people at SDSU would get them 24 hours in advance? SHIT!

But remember that it is only a percentage of tickets went to the students 24 hours in advance of general public sales. For the D&T show in Norfolk that I went to, I scored 2 student tickets (I had an intern working for me at the time that was from Old Dominin University)...plus I got 2 tickets thru the normal Ticketmaster route.
