acoustic original

Unread post by bassman462 » Thu Mar 31, 2005 3:42 am

i tried to incorprate(SP?) what i know of soloing into the intro then it goes into the full song i layered a low bass line and some hand drumming on the back of my guitar. im probably off timing and my guitar is out of tune i think. but its late and wanted to put something on here. its called two sided iono why it just is.

well, the timing isnt great at the beginning and its not really followable through the solo intro thing, so i would work on making it followable. an good example of "good" yet also "followable" is Blue Sky (allman brothers). obviously though, thats over a whole band, so its a little different, just somethin to think about.

also, the part with the chords and the bassline, it was kinda distracting that the bass and the guitar werent exactly together it was kinda off. maybe that was intentional, but if not, work on gettin them synchronized correctly. could have been your recording situation, i dont know.

also, just a bass-related note...that bassline wasnt very interesting...just root note stuff gets boring. but if that is what you wanted, thats cool too.

keep workin at it and youll get the hang of it all.
