Which Fishman Pickup Should I Get??

Unread post by MahlerGrooves » Fri Mar 25, 2005 1:51 pm

So, as many of you have already read, I recently got a Taylor 410-LTD.

I want to put a pickup in it, but I cannot decide between the Fishman Matrix I or II.

I don't play out a lot, and it is never in a large setting, but some say the Matrix I won't give me a good reproduction on such a full bodied instrument.

Any suggestions??

Yes, the 410 is a dread.

Well, I just heard from a lot of people that the Fishman ones are the best, and that is what I use with my upright bass. I would LOVE to have it fitted with the Expressions System, but that is TOO expensive.

What pickup do you think I should get if not the Fishman????

Damn. See, I can get the Fishman for 100, but if I like the Baggs better, I'll spring for the extra cash. Such is life.

about 160-200 depending on how low you talk them on the pickup.
